Post release from the XI AutoTransTech workshop

The VI International Technical Seminar “Device, Repair and Diagnostics of Automatic Transmissions” was held on November 5-6, 2010 in the training and hotel complex Mendeleevo, at the address: Moscow Region, Solnechnogorsk District, Lyalovskoye Shosse, 1.

The seminar “Device, repair and diagnostics of automatic transmissions” is technical, and its main feature is that, in addition to proven functions - to inform, educate and advise, it is called upon to fulfill a unifying role!

The workshop not only identifies the problems of diagnosis and repair, but helps specialists solve them together with manufacturers and suppliers.

The seminar was a presentation of new equipment for the repair of automatic transmissions. This equipment allows not only to scan the car for various malfunctions, but also to quickly and reliably test and manage the transmission, isolating it from the controls and wiring, without having to remove the automatic transmission from the car!

One of the issues that was raised at the seminar is the creation of an international public organization! He was interested in many of those present, rather actively discussed after the lectures along with technical issues.

In an informal setting, the issue of holding seminars in other cities and countries was also discussed. Received a number of proposals and invitations from the seminar participants. In particular, from the company Aichin from Belarus, the Ukrainian Transmission Center in Yalta and other regular participants.

A set of tools necessary to optimize the work and organization of automatic transmission repair jobs was also presented: a table-mounted transmission lock, a tool for compressing the automatic transmission clutch springs, a tool for extracting the front automatic transmission pump, a vacuum tester, a tool kit for Aisin Warner SL solenoids, etc., starting AISIN WARNER solenoid recovery kits with bushings for transmissions such as VW 09D, 09G, K, M (TR60), AF40 (TF80), 55-50SN, which helps prevent hard shifting and slippage problems.

At the end of the business program of the first day, the third draw of the Golden Ten lottery was held. All registered at the seminar took part in the drawing. The authors of the questions - representatives of Sonnax and Midland Automatic Transmissions congratulated the most erudite of the participants - the representative of the Stagecoach company (St. Petersburg) and presented the main prize of the Jackpot lottery (30,000 rubles)!

Traditionally, during the seminar, the participants were presented with technical literature, manuals and repair manuals for automatic transmissions (mainly in English by ATSG, ATRA, etc.) - such bestsellers as 01J ATSG Diagnostic, 02E ATSG Diagnostic, 55-50 OEM GM, 6HP26 / A ATSG Diagnostic, JF506E All ATSG, etc.

The 2010 workshop brought together gearboxes from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and Great Britain. More than 100 participants attended the seminar and 23 people participated in absentia.

Following the seminar, all participants were awarded certificates.
