I International AutoTransTech Technical Seminar
On August 25, 2005, in Moscow, at the World Trade Center, the First International Technical Seminar “Device, Repair and Diagnostics of Automatic Transmissions” was held.
The seminar was organized by the company “TRANSPARTS” (Moscow), with the participation of “HELC Group” (Great Britain) and the exhibition company “EXPO-group”.
The seminar was held as part of the Moscow International Motor Show MIMS-2005.
The seminar was attended by about 30 companies from various regions of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine: TAKHO Transmission (Moscow), automatic transmission-Master (Vladivostok), ATMA
(Rostov-on-Don), Svid-Mobil (St. Petersburg) , Ukrainian Transmission Center (Ukraine, Kiev), Transmistik (Moscow) and others.
The purpose of the seminar is to discuss by car service specialists a full range of questions on the diagnosis and repair of automatic transmissions, familiarization with new diagnostic
automatic transmission control instruments and other equipment.
The seminar was opened by the General Director of TRANSPARTS Vyacheslav Bakalov. The seminar presented information on the device, repair and typical malfunctions of the automatic transmission AW55-50SN, JF506E and their various modifications, as well as the basics of electronics and diagnostics of automatic transmissions (scanners, multimeters, principles of operation of sensors and solenoids, fault codes).
A unique new product, SEAL-E-ZEE, was introduced at the seminar. It allows installing a gasket seal for pistons without damaging them, which is very important for transmissions of the 5L40E type.
Also at the seminar was a presentation of NEWCO Autoline Gmbh (Germany), which presented its automotive products at Mercedes Benz. At the moment, NEWCO Autoline Germany Gmbh is a supplier of interim kits for MV for TRANSTEC and TRANSTAR.
