ATT SHOW 2017 for the first time passed in a new format.
For two days, on August 23 and 24, 2017, the modern business complex NOVOTEL MOSCOW CITY has turned into ATT SHOW 2017. The only exhibition in Russia of the automatic transmissions industry was held for the first time not as part of a larger auto show or technical seminar, but as an independent event.
The new format fell in the heart of both participants and guests, as it has a number of obvious advantages. The main thing is that, being a highly specialized event, the exhibition gathered extremely interested people. All were "on the same wave," everyone understood each other with a half-word, there were no idle gawkers and casual passers-by.
ATT SHOW 2017 has become a comfortable platform for communication of professionals and a reliable source of information on topical issues of the industry. The experience and enthusiasm of the participants made this event a significant.
At the same site the leading companies of the segment from different countries - ten full-time and three absentee participants - gathered. Here are their impressions "hot on the trail":
Scott Schneider, Precision International (USA)
«AutoTransTech managed once again to gather major transmission repair specialists and vendors alike under one roof in a pleasant, professional environment. I liked the venue. The hotel was modern, clean and catered to business people quite well. Meals were affordable and the hotel staff was efficient and friendly. I also liked that it was separate from MIMS. We are a niche industry and have little to gain being thrown together with general car parts. Keeping us isolated made the show feel relaxed. We were all there for the same purpose. Another great job, I look forward to 2018».
Mike DeFelice, Sonnax Industries Inc (USA)
«This year was certainly the most organized of all of years. The exhibition booths were very well constructed and easy for the attendees to visit. As always the entire ATT crew are very accommodating».
Oleg Leonidov, MIR Association (Russia)
«For the first time we take part in the exhibition and are pleasantly impressed by its high efficiency. The company`s stand enjoyed great attention and, as a result, we had several new customers! Affordable prices, good organization. For us it is a great investment of time and resources».
This year the exhibition featured an interesting program and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
On the first day, August 23, the solemn opening was made by the founder and ideological inspirer of the ATT SHOW Slava Bakalov. He cordially greeted the exhibitors, thanked them for their contribution to the development of the transmission industry and launched the contest "The best Tool for AT repair".
The contest was a real "highlight" of the exhibition. The presentations of the participants aroused a keen interest among the public and became the center of heated discussions. Details of the competition can be found here.
The winner of the competition, according to the unanimous decision of the jury, was Nikolay Yurchenko, an independent master, a true modern "Levsha". Nikolay received the Certificate of the Winner and the main prize, 50 000 rubles, from the sponsor of the competition - the company TransTec.
At the booths of the exhibitors on both days of the show was a lot of commotion.
At KINERGO, who presented their prospective equipment, there was no release from customersов.
Auto-Blitz were the leaders and active participants of all discussions. Their booth, from which jokes and laughter were constantly heard, became a kind of club, a place of attraction for guests and participants.
MCAT presented a magnificent booth and performed excellently at the contest, receiving a special prize from Auto-Blitz. In addition, an interview was filmed, which will soon be published.
GFX brought a huge amount of materials for the demonstration, and next year are going to come with a more spacious booth.
As always, professional and convincing were our regular participants TransTec and Transparts.
The AutoTransTech booth was very popular. Many guests were directly registered there for the forthcoming technical seminar "Design, repair and diagnostics of automatic transmissions". About how the seminar was held, read here.
The companyALTO took part in the exhibition in absentia this year, and everyone missed Roni Zelichonok whose arrival was not originally intended. However, Roni carved two days in his busy schedule and arrived at the seminar, on August 25 and 26, to everyone`s delight.Absentee participants of the exhibition were also such well-known companies as RYBESTOS and Newco Autoline Gmbh, who found this format convenient and productive. Their presentation materials were presented on the information stands and actively disseminated among the visitors.
This year, the ATT SHOW has become truly interactive. Throughout the exhibition at the reception desk, guests took the survey, sharing their experiences and expressing constructive suggestions. This "first hand" information will definitely help to make the following ATT SHOW even more interesting! All visitors who filled in the questionnaire received nice gifts.
August 24, the final day of the exhibition, the award ceremony took place. All exhibitors were solemnly presented with Certificates of exhibitors. Participants, in turn, warmly thanked the organizers and guests.
As Anton Shatunov (TransTec) said in his speech: "Here at the exhibition, gathered business people. Those who by their intellect, talent, creativity daily helps our industry to evolve. It is the people – our main asset!".
So, the first step in the new format is done! ATT SHOW 2017 is completed. Long live the ATT SHOW 2018! See you next August, dear friends!
